Something to decorate the room with

In Nordic homes, there are little things that change the look of a room to suit the season or one's mood.
Birch wood figurines, Christmas Tomte, ornaments hanging in the window, cushions placed on the sofa.
Just having them there softens the atmosphere. They are decorative items unique to the Nordic region, born out of a desire to spend long winters happily indoors.
